He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Grau and Wilhelmine Grau; and his siblings, Julianna and Franz (Elisabeth). He is survived by: his son George Daniel; his stepson David Pipher; his grandson Jake; his brother-in-law Anton Balzer; and his nieces, Monika and Inge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
