He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his daughter Debbie (Geoff); his brother Larry Maltais; and his siblings-in-law, Leona Zettel, Calvin Blue and John Schmidt.
He is survived by: his sons, George, John (Christine) and Peter (Lisa); his sister Lola Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, June Baker and Carl Zettel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
