She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schmidt and Florence Schmidt (Lichty). She is survived by: her siblings, Doug (Ruth) and Charlotte (Bruce Thompson); her nephew Derek Schmidt Ember (Michelle Clarke Ember); her niece Sarah Thompson (Adam Breen); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amelia Breen, Talus and Ayla Ember.
