With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gertrud Pauline Kok (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jake Kok; her parents, Harry Schurgers and Pauly Schurgers; and her sisters, Annie (Peerdeman) and Mariet (Spee).
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Lyne), Natascha Voll (Doug), Stella Freiberg (Walter) and Mark (Jessica); her grandchildren, Renee (Mike), Ciara (Matt), Alexis, Nathaniel (Cassidy), Savannah, Hunter, Cole, Ren, Anya, Seth, Takeo, Jaden, Cyrus and Karai; her great grandchild Benjamin; and her brothers, Frans and Harry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VON Sakura House in Oxford County.
