She was predeceased by: her husband Adolf Aszmies; her parents, William Lutz and Marjorie Lutz (Newman); and her siblings, Betty, Joy, Mary, Shirley and William (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Sandra) and Jamie (Erin); her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Hannah, Fynn (Snook), Danielle and Gavin; her siblings, Rose and Edward (Ted); and her sisters-in-law, Hermine and Jennifer. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law and many Aszmies nieces and nephews.
