She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Schott and Luella Schott; and her husband George Bechtel. She is survived by: her children, Trevor (Susan Hunsberger) and Gini (Tamara Shantz); her siblings, Clare, Clifford, Glen, Kenneth, Donald and David (Denise); and her sisters-in-law, Carol (Cliff) and Alice (Glen).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church (57 Stirling Ave N, Kitchener, ON N2H3G4). A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
