He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Ethel; and his siblings, Edna Brewster, Erna Doud, Dorothy Bender, Audrey Diemert, Allan, Gerald (Jerry) and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his son Steve Yensen (Lori); his grandchildren, Ashley (Vinnie), Krystina (Jimmy), Scott, Dave Yensen (Connie), Nicole (Grigas), Andrew (Elma), Karen Shomphe (Gord), Gillian (Phil) and Zach; and his great grandchildren, Shaila, Kiara, Ajay, Ember, Chara, Selene and Sawyer. He is also survived by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
