He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen (McKenty); his grandson Daniel Woeller; his parents, Jack Lorentz and Pearl Lorentz; and his siblings, Robert, Mildred and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, James, Heather Lorentz, Louise, Steve Woeller and Theresa Van Wyck; his grandchildren, Caitlyn (Justin Simmers), Justin Lorentz, Zachary, Connor Van Wyck and Jacob Bird; and his siblings, Joyce Bruder and Arnold Lorentz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by Bud's family as expressions of sympathy and can be made through the funeral home.
