She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Somers; her parents, Rueben Aikens and Clara Aikens; her siblings, Lorne Aikens (Kathleen), Ruby Theil (Bill) and Jean Durst (Bill); and her former husband Neil Nairn.
She is survived by: her children, Scott, Lynn Nairn of Sudbury, Jeff and Kim Nairn of Waterloo; her stepchildren, Rick Somers, Doug Somers (Cindy Venier) and Rexanne Somers; her grandchildren, Anthony Nairn, Jess Hall, Courtney and Ollie Tache; her great grandchild Hendrix; her grandchildren, Curtis, Alex Ferron, Amy, Jeff May, Adam Merkley and Andrew Nairn (Athene); her sisters-in-law, Mildred (Millie), McQuillin (late Ivan) and Marion Somers (Marnie); Chaz Somers (Payton), Jesse, Hailey Somers and Kelsey Somers.
