She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cress and Bernice Cress (Jack Hammond). She is survived by: her husband Steve Heckenhofer; her children, Shawn Heckenhofer (Jane) and Kim Helm (Rick); and her grandchildren, Logan, Liam Heckenhofer, Justin and Jaiden Helm.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
