James Birch Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Birch (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 81, on September 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervan Birch and Doris Haskins; his brother Peter Birch; his brother-in-law Peter FitzGibbon; and his in-laws, Robert Tschirhart, Eva Reinhardt and Anne Paleczny.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly (Tschirhart); his children, Kelly (Shawn) and Kerry (Gary); his grandchildren, Matthew, Katie (Chris), Nichole (Carl), Jordan (Mike) and Stephen (Katie); his great grandchildren, Ellie, Hailee, Oliver, Toby, Adelynne, Alexandra, Gavin, Lyle, Isaac and Camryn; his sibling Beryl; and his siblings-in-law, Jan (John), Gail (Tom), Kim (Paul) and Christine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A prayer was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis of Asissi RC Church (49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M4E2). A reception was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rosemount United Church (171 Sherwood Ave, Kitchener, ON N2B1K2). We will be celebrating Jim's life along with his brother Peter's life (who passed during covid).
