He was predeceased by : his sisters, Jane Mohr (Orville) and Ruth Little. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Kelterborn; his children, Craig Doering (Debbie), Kim Reston (Chris), Todd Doering (late Kelly), Barry Doering (Lisa) and Teri Mayer (Jamie); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua, Jenny, Michael, Jack, Matthew, Sam and Megan; his siblings, June Schmidt (late Ken), Lila Ramseyer (late Robert) and David Doering (late Ruby); and his brother-in-law Stuart Little.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 2nd 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
