He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard and Margaret; and his brother Paul. He is survived by : his spouse Gail; his siblings, Peter and Christine Meyer; his sisters-in-law, Valerie Meyer (Tony) and Jane Casciato (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Adam (Stephanie), Sean (Jessica), Taryn Meyer, Tina Casciato (Sean Gray) and Amy Casciato-Gray (Chad); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Whitney Meyer, Sloane and Dylan Gray; and his friends, Keith and Greg. He is also survived by aunts, cousins and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or KW Humane Society (cards available at the funeral home).
