It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Frances Nagel (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Henry George Gainsford and Elizabeth Ann Langton; and her sister Adelaide (Patricia). She is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Maurizio Ianni); and her siblings, Rose, Betty and Bobby (Eileen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
