He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith; his grandchildren, Ralph (Rita), Rob, Veronika (Dan Stawski), Ritch (Nicole Smith), Tobias (Jessi), Luke, Ivan (Abigail), Kirstin, Isaac, Kira (Jesper), Hannah (Mark), Quinn, Kassy (Ben) and Adam; and his siblings, Kati and Edith.
