He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Borchardt and Frieda Borchardt; his wife Margo; his siblings, Lorre Bensler and Klaus Borchardt; his children, Claus Borchardt (Anne), Evelyn Connell (Michael Radford), Harold Borchardt (Rhonda), Melinda Croft (Tim), Mat Connell (Tamryn Joubert) and John-Paul Borchardt (Natasha); his great grandchild Lola Borchardt; and his friend Brian. He was also cherished by his nephews, niece, and grandniece.
