It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Frederick Cowell (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith "Judi"; his daughters, Jill Amaral (Nelson) and Heather Cowell (Shayne Koehler); his grandchildren, Ava, Cohen, James and Jake; his brothers, Peter, Mark and Andrew; his siblings-in-law, Alice McGoldrick-Harworth (late Syd) and Gerald McGoldrick (Lynne); and his siblings' children, Scott, Derek, Drew, Samantha, Cody, Shawn, Daryl, Jamie and Karen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
