John Preston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Preston (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Preston to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley L. Preston and Maureen Holman (Preston); and his siblings, Anne-Marie Fischer (Laverne) and Michael Preston (Diane). He is survived by: his wife Filomena Preston; his children, John Preston (Abby Robinson), Daniel Preston (Meghan Valvano) and Tegan Preston (Marc Preston); his grandchildren, Maverick and Indigo; his parents-in-law, Jose and Maria L. Braga; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Newbigging (Mike), Ana Armstrong (Ron), Paul Braga and Liz Polanic (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
