He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Schleicher and Leonita Schleicher; his siblings, Rick (Annette), Gary (Kimberley) and Anita Nikelski (Peter); his siblings' children, Katherine Callahan (Ryan), Kira Dennis (Drew), Alec Schleicher (Diane), Michelle Nikelski (Harry) and Steven Nikelski; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie Callahan, Carson Dennis and Camden Schleicher.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) or Parents for Community Living would be appreciated by the family.
