She was predeceased by: her parents, Bev Poole and Dorothy Poole; her husband Ron Carlson; her grandson Keith Sandford; her great grandchildren, Evan, Cassie, Gabbie, Ashley, Izzie, Hannah, Jackson, Roselyn, Nicholas and Merissa; and her sisters, Donna Wilson (Ernie) and Sheila Foley.

She is survived by: her children, Jordan Sandford (Kandy) and Tracey Chenger; her grandchildren, Cara, Denis Beaulieu, Doug, Cindy Sandford and Corbin Chenger; her sister Linda Vandervelde (Allan); her brother-in-law David; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy, Rhonda, Trevor and Gordon.
