With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Hughes (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on December 14, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Russell; her children, Nikole Spekkers (Nathan) and Zandra Koopman (Aaron); her stepchildren, Brent Hughes (Karin), Matthew Hughes (Kimmi) and Jacqueline Hughes; and her grandchildren, Sloane, Jasper, Addison, Bryson, Marco, Nico, Emma and Stella.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
