Kris Zach Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kris Zach (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosina; his parents, Kristof and Katharina; his brother Frank (Theresa); and his in-laws, Maria Forthuber (Hans), Felix Gregor (Frieda) and Stephanie Krohn (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Roy (Diane Massicotte) of Kitchener and Mary Ann Mallett (Richard) of Victoria, BC.; his siblings-in-law, Joe Piller (late Sophie) and Lois Tessner (late Tom); and his godson Kevin (Caroline). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A vigil service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Asissi RC Church (49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON N2M4E2). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5).
