Laughlin McNeil Obituary

Lauchie passed away Saturday August 30th, 2025 after tragically being struck by a car riding his unicycle. Lauchie will be terribly missed by his common law spouse of 10 years, Mary Marino, his children, Savannah and Quinn, his parents, Mac and Rhoda McNeil, his sisters, Becky (Cesar) Avina-Gomez, and Kyla (Ryan) Graham. Lauchie was a fun and loving uncle to Destiny, Malachi, Tiago, Keira, Ty, Ali and Austin. He will be sadly missed by Mary's Parents, Ray and Lin Buxton, Pat and Sharon Marino, Mary's brother Mike and Steve Buxton. Lauchie will furever be missed by his fur baby Luna.

Will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and endless friends.

Lauchie was the beloved grandson of the founding Pastor of International Gospel Centre, the late Rev. D.J., and Edna Emmerson and nephew of Pastor Mark and Laura Emmerson. Although Lauchie lived a colourful life he fully believed that Jesus Christ was his Saviour and the only way to heaven was through him. Lauchie made it known to his Dad that he prayed every day and his soul was right with the Lord. Lauchie leaves a massive hole in our family-there was no one quite like him. Lauchie had a way of making everyone smile and had a heart of pure gold. His laugh was contagious. He always lit up every room he entered. Lauchie's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Service at International Gospel Centre, 35 Charles St E., Kitchener, on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
