He was predeceased by: his sister Gloria Ripley; and his parents, Lyle Owen and Nellie. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Angie Ripley and Chris Ripley; and his siblings, Charmine McKiel (late Bob) and Janine Vandenburg (Mike).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
