He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wiebe and Ethel Wiebe; and his siblings, Mervin Dallman (Jean), Grace Banfield (Albert), Reta Thiele (Phil) and Frank Wiebe (Joan Wood).
He is survived by: his wife Valerie (Day); his daughters, Barbara Wiebe Cisecki (Jeff), Deanna Wiebe (Lazgin Isa) and Laura Wiebe (Adam Wills); his granddaughters, Charlotte Wiebe, Sarah Riley, Brooke and Natasha Cisecki; his sister Alice Gibb (Dick); his brother-in-law Richard Runnalls (Shirley); and his nieces and nephews, Gary Dallman (Frieda), Linda Bourassa (Steve), Bonnie Horth (Donald), Kevin Dallman (Jenny), Cheryl Horth (Richard), Jimmy Dallman (Angie), Marty Dallman (Maryanne), Sharon Desmarais (Dwayne), Robert Dallman (Lisa), Calvin Banfield, Charlene Craig (Bruce), Anne Rasenberger (Frank), Jonathan Thiele (Tina), Pauline Humphrey (Rod), Joanne Badgley (Rennie), Michael Wiebe (Hope), Judy Chaperchione (Mark), John Runnalls (Rosie), Kelly Johnston (Geoff), Christine Dorsett (Jody) and Aaron Runnalls (Sherry). He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church - Kitchener Site where Lorne was a member for many years, the Mennonite Central Committee or to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.
