He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Blum and Luise Blum; and his brothers, Hans (Ursula) and Walter (Andree). He is survived by: his wife Hildegard (Hilde); his sons, David (Patricia) and Michael (Denise); and his grandsons, Nicholas and Hunter Blum.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
