She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Schenk; her children, Marion Ford (Brian) of Newmarket, Carol Robinson (Donald) of Kitchener, Diane Ferringo (Mike) of Guelph, Beverly Sheppard (Ray Tait) of Waterloo and Gail Cote (John) of Woodstock; her brothers, Albert, William and Alan Whittingstall; and her former husband Raymond.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
