She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Fortenbacher and Katarina Fortenbacher; her brothers, Vladimir Fortenbacher (Margaretha) and Karl Fortenbaher (Veronica); her brother-in-law Zivojin Ivkovic; and her great-niece Virgina Schlauch.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ana Ivkovic and Rose Varga (Joe). She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
