With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Jose Ponte (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Maria Ponte; and her brother Mariano (Estela). She is survived by: her children, Patricia (Jason), Nelson (Carmen), Lucy (Dave), Mike (Manuela) and Sandra (Grant); and her brother Armando (Aida).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
