He was predeceased by: his wife Ingrid McIver; his parents, Edward McIver and Ursula McIver; his sisters, Cathy Dixon and Carolyn McIver; and his in-law Magdalena Smits.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie McIver, Sara Cowart (Luke) and Steven McIver (Brandy); his grandson Carter McIver; his sisters, Liz Cybalski (Denny), Barb Baur and Nancy McIver; his brothers-in-law, Chris Baur and Jeff Dixon (Faith); and his in-laws, Maggie Smits, Bill Smits (Dianne), Nick Smits and Rob Smits. He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews and many incredible friends.
