It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milan Jakovljevic (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Milan may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his former wife Vera; his partner Ljubica Zivkovic; and his sibling's children, Svetlana Ugrinic of Guidizzolo and Miroslav Jakovljevic of Simicevo-Zabari.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church (700 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2E4E9). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
