She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert (Blanch Singleton) and Nancy; and her husband Russell Ansley. She is survived by: her children, Dionne Companion (Joe) and Darren Ansley (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Samuel, Kael, Sydney, Ethan and Sophie; her sister Jean McLeod; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Ansley (Lucy) and Evelyn Ansley.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
