He was predeceased by : his wife Marie; his granddaughter Chrystal; and his parents, Paulo DiSimoni and Katarina DiSimoni. He is survived by : his children, Catherine Calvin (Douglas), John DiSimone, Nancy Bauman (Brian) and Barbara Emrich (Kurt); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Bruce), Brandon (Lisa), Brittany (Jeff), Paul (Jessica) and David (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Georgia, Bryson, Auston, Owen, Winston, Mason, Molly, Emmett and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
