He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Marie Hertel; his mother Joyce Hertel (Wayne Neal) of Point Clarke; his stepchildren, Jarod Morgan (Megan Rose) of Kitchener and Sarah Morgan (Simon James) of Port McNicoll; his stepsiblings, Jackie Neal (Karen Marquis) of Galt and Scott Neal of Hamilton; his pets, Max, Molly and Phoenix; and his father Robert Hertel. He was also cherished by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
