It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Jerome Kirby (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Kirby; his parents, Patrick Sr. Kirby and Helen Kirby; his in-laws, Mary and Andrew Teminski; his brothers, Tony, Don and Danny; his sister-in-law Vera Reiner; and his great-nephew Joshua Fonseca.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nadine Goetz (Mark) and Tonia Kirby-RobertsonCherished (Darrell); his brother Joe of Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland.; and his special buddy Benji.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army (https://www.sakw.ca) whom helped Patrick when he first relocated to Ontario as a young man or the KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
