He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Brady; his sister Judith Porteous; and his brother-in-law David Weiler. He is survived by: his wife Judith Joyce Porteous; his children, Robyn Klimczuk (Todd), Tracey Brown (Randy) and Kimberley Lacroix (Ted); his grandchildren, Michael (Amanda), Christopher, Kandiss, Andrew and Taylor (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Mia, Lincoln, Lucas, Curtis, Lachlan, Isabella, Hudson, Sophia and Maci; and his sister-in-law Lorri Weiler. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
