With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter James Jackman Hawes of Kitchener, Ontario, born in Oakville, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Ruth Mitchell Hawes; and his brothers, John and David. He is survived by: his brother Michael Hawes; his sister-in-law Donaleen Hawes; his nephews, Byron, Garrett, Geoffrey, Trevor and Martti; and his friend Kitchener.
