With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph Ernst Gehrke (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ralph Ernst may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ralph Ernst touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his son Jasper Gehrke (DonnaLynn Corris); his sister Karin Beutler; and his mother Alfreda Gehrke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K4P4).
