He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Fritz and Pearl Fritz; and his siblings, George, Earl and June Fries.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Greg (Kelly) of Seguin, Michael (Joanne) of Wellesley and Maureen Linton (Peter) of Bradford; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Stephanie), Joseph, Cara, Blake and Kurtis; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Jayme; his sister Barb Guppy (Bob) of Abbotsford, B. C.; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Reinhart, Jean Fritz and Ross Fries; and his friend Gladys. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House or St. Agnes Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
