He was predeceased by : his wife Shelia Slemmonds. He is survived by : his children, Susan Hirtle (Don), Gary (Jacquie) and Paul (Donna); his grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Katelyn (Joel), Megan (Kyle) and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Kristina, Lucas, Kayla, Kodi, Damien, Lennox and Arabella; his siblings, Julie Gray (Harry), Reg Slemmonds (Anne) and Paul Williams Slemmonds; and his friend England. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
