He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dietz and Dorothy Dietz; his son Robert "Rob" Dietz; and his siblings, Ruth Leitch and Bill Dietz.
He is survived by: his spouse Maralyn; his children, Jon Dietz (Jackie Kube) and Patricia Dietz; his grandchildren, Nicole Hobbs (Daniel Hobbs) and Natalee Dietz (Justin Berger); and his sisters, Betty Berlet and Mary Cook. He is also survived by his extended family, including many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
