He was predeceased by: his former wife Sarah Butts; his parents, Mary Phillips and Freeman Phillips; and his siblings, Milfred, Murray, Earl, Russell, Edna, Marguerite, Frieda, Lillian and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Robin Hillier, Dave (Sherri), Perry (late Vicki), Linda Nahrgang, Mary Muir (Mike) and Sheila; his stepchildren, Ann Woodman (Murray), Pat Delaney (Marianna) and Teresa Delaney (Dean Pottruff); and his sister Audrey Schweitzer (Roy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
