Ruth Janes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Janes (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Janes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Burden and Clarice Burden; her sisters, Ina Turnbull (Alex), Annie Turnbull (John), Vera Russell (James) and Evelyn Tulk; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Janes and Paulette Janes.
She is survived by: her husband Shad Janes; her children, Todd (Kelly) and Tiffany Janes; her grandson Jacob (Gabriela); her siblings, Violet Strugnell (Simon), Laura Gaulton (Bill), Effie Penney (Tony), Oral Burden and Perry Burden (Paula); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Locke (Frank), Karen Tulk, Ruth Park, Manoel Janes (Evelyn), Denise Andrews (Bob) and David Janes (Mina). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
