He was predeceased by : his grandsons, Malcolm and Orin; his sisters, Dawn Kathleen Lawson and Patricia Louise Purcell; and his parents, Sally Kathleen MacLennan and Kenneth James Purcell.

He is survived by : his spouse Allison; and his children, Matthew (Astra) of Kitchener, Brendan (Elisse) of Kitchener, Aislinn (Matt) of Goderich, Caileigh (Josh) of Stratford and Zachary (Alissa) of Kitchener.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation (https://cmhfoundation.ca) as expressions of sympathy.
