With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sean Loyst (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Grant Loyst. He is survived by: his children, Cece and Millie; his pet Mae; his mother Brenda Hamilton (Mario Gencarelli); his sibling Erin Hijmans (Manalto); his friends, Ally Samms and Tami Mitchell; and his brothers, Darryl, Mike, Pat D., Trent and Andrew. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and many friends.

As a request, please RSVP to attend his service only.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Waterloo Region, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (UHN) - Doves of Hope, or Donna's Kids would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). “Cece & Millie - I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I have not met you but I know that if you are at all like your dad, you are amazing human beings. I knew him during his time at the University of Windsor where I taught him. He connected with me over the years when he remembered things from the gender class that I taught.
