With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon Elizabeth Lavoie (Kitchener, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her spouse Mel Lavoie; and her parents, Harold Koch and Betty Koch. She is survived by: her sons, Justin (Dana) and Joel (Katheen); her grandchildren, Cameron and Vivienne; her brothers, Bob Koch (Marilyn) and Gary Koch (Sue); her brother-in-law Ron Lavoie (Sheila); her siblings' children, Lindsay, Jordan, Ashley, Melissa, Janine and Jennifer; her close friend Mel; Sharon.

Her commitment to her work, active volunteerism and contribution to her community led Sharon to being awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal - an honour given to both her and Mel in December 2024.
