He was predeceased by: his son Christopher McLean; his former wife Wilma McLean; his parents, Johnathan McLean (Jack) and Ruby Flatters McLean; and his brothers, Donald, Malcolm and Harcourt.
He is survived by: his wife Joan McLean; his child Laurie Skantzos (Ian Leach); his grandchildren, Nicholas Skantzos (Joanna Urban), Alexandra Skantzos, Austin Mills and Caitlin Mills; and his sisters-in-law, Eva McLean and Daphne McLean. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada, the KW Seniors Day Program c/o City of Waterloo or the Kitchener Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
