He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Carl Knipfel (Carm Caruana); his nephew Ryan Knipfel; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie and Aaron; his nephew Tyler Knipfel (Marisa Rocha-Knipfel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoe, Zara and Taya; his sister-in-law Susan Bell; Danny Havelka Leen (Jo), Aiden and Lucy.
