We announce the death of Trifu Barbu (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 98. Trifu will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Trifu will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Trifu will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Trifu’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ana; his son George (Bobita); his great grandchildren, Cassandra Amorim (Josh), Karina Guglielmi and Matteo Guglielmi; and his sibling Paun Barbu (Ana). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews extended family.
