She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Francis Strauss; her grandchildren, Corrie Bridgman and Maverick Anderson; her parents, John Hinsperger and Anna Hinsperger; her siblings, Ray Hinsperger (Norma), Angela Kraemer, Ann Elliott (Don), Harvey Hinsperger (Irene), Norbert Hinsperger (Helen) and Rosemary Murawsky (Gerry); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Merchant (Bill) and Lionel Woodbridge.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Bridgman (Doug), Ken Strauss (Betty), Karen McInally (Tony) and Laurie Anderson (Brent); her grandchildren, Stephen Travale (Mona), Lindsay Maley (Colin), Mike Bridgman (Cathy Hamilton), Adam Bridgman (Angela), Dan Strauss (Candice), Amanda Baechler (Jeff), Nick McInally (Britt Smith), Stacey Symonds (Alex), Carolyn Bristowe (Jeromy), Mercedes Anderson and Christen Anderson; her great grandchildren, Tia, Halle, Brady, Natalina, Madison, Luca, Dashel, Landon, Connor, Lilyanna and Issac; her siblings, Rev. Edward Hinsperger, Walter Hinsperger (Margaret), Virginia Reis (Frank) and David Hinsperger (Joyce); and her siblings-in-law, Clare Kraemer, Al Strauss (Beth) and Rita Woodbridge. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish (55 Driftwood Dr, Kitchener, ON N2N3A2).
